Hiking in Blanes and the mouth of the Tordera river

Blanes, the first town on the Costa Brava, offers us numerous attractions, such as its beautiful beaches and its exuberant Botanical Garden.
The hiking route that we propose allows us to get to know the local trails in the most rural Blanes, near cereal fields and vegetable gardens that are located near the fluvial zone of the Tordera river.
The route is circular and easy level. Arriving towards the end of the itinerary, we will approach the beach to admire the mouth of the Tordera. This protected area, of great ecological importance, is home to a great diversity of waterfowl, which nest, seek food, shelter or are simply passing through in their migratory process. We will also be able to observe the typical flora of humid areas such as reeds, elms and small-leaved ash trees.

• Mountain shoes

• Swimsuit and towel - optional in case you fancy a swim at the end of the route

• Mask: mandatory for use on public transport.

Meeting point: 

08:15 a.m. We meet at Plaça Catalunya in front of the Apple store to take the 08:30 train. We arrive in Blanes at 09:52
If you want to go directly to Blanes, please indicate it when signing up.
We'll have a coffee at the station if the bar is open.
Those who want can stay in Blanes to eat and visit the town.
There are frequent trains, we will return to Barcelona around 14:00 approx.
