Hiking and picnic to the Mirador and
Hermitage of Sant Mateu del Bosc

We went for a walk to the viewpoint and hermitage of Sant Mateu in the Maresme. This is a circular route. We arrived in Ocata by RENFE train and started the route in the Riera de Teià where
we will ascend until we reach a large esplanade with views
fantastic views of Barcelona and the sea.
We continue to the Sant Mateu fountain where we will stop and have a picnic. Then we will visit the Romanesque Hermitage of

of Sant Mateu. We will go down the main road until we reach Can Riera; horse area and fields.

What Brig:  Mountain shoes, water and a picnic snack (fruit, sandwich, nuts, salad, etc.)
Meeting point: 08:30 Arc de Triomf - under the arch.
We take the RENFE train at Arc de Triomf 8:59 to Ocata
There we take the local bus (2.15 euros) for about 5 minutes to avoid the hard climb that crosses the town until we reach the starting point; the Riera de Teia. Those who want to meet at the Renfe station in Ocata please indicate this when signing up.

€ 175 per tour from 1 to 5 people.​ Groups of 6 people or more add € 10 per person. Groups of maximum 8 people. Price includes the guided tour, a vermouth and a tapa. Additional drinks and tapas are not included in the price.
