Hiking Cardedeu to Sant Hilari
 

Located in the Vallés Oriental, with the Montseny massif in the background, Cardedeu is a municipality that has maintained many elements of its past to the present.
We will visit the church of Santa Maria and its chapel of San Cornelio, of medieval origin.
We will cross the town to start the hiking route, which is circular and very varied. It presents sections of track, rural area, trails and forest.
We will arrive at Sant Hilari – an old hermitage documented from 1347 and located in the farmhouse of the same name – also known as Can Ros. The environment is peaceful, with many trees and a landscape that invites contemplation.
On the way back, we will stop at the Font dels Oms and the Parc Pompeu Fabra.

• It is essential to bring mountain shoes (sneakers are not enough)

• Walking sticks if you have them

• Breakfast and lunch - picnic

• Mask: mandatory for use on public transport.

Meeting Point: We will meet at 08:45 at the Passeig de Gracia Renfe station in the lobby with ticket offices and Renfe staff, entrance c/Aragó. We will take the 09:06 train, we will arrive in Cardedeu at 09:45. 
Those who want to go directly to Cardedeu should indicate so when signing up.

We will stop for a coffee in Cardedeu. We will visit the church – they open at 10:00 a.m. The hiking trail will start around 10:30 a.m.
We will stop for a snack during the journey.
We will be back in Cardedeu around 2:00 p.m.

€10 per person. Groups of maximum 15 people.
