Hiking in L´Arboç, the hermitage of Sant Ponç i Banyeres del Penedés

Circular route that takes us into the Baix Penedés. We will cross the town of l´Arboç and see its small promenade, church and its figures of centenarian giants. We will stop at its unmistakable Giralda, a replica of the one known in Seville. This one is a little smaller and the whim of a wealthy businessman who fell prey to the original on his honeymoon and had an equal one built in his summer town.
We will continue the route along rural roads between vineyards until we reach the beautiful hermitage of Sant Ponç and the old tower and farmhouse of Papiol.
We will visit Banyeres del Penedes, its narrow streets, the guard tower, and the famous Plaça de l'Olm where we will stop for a snack.

What Brig:  Mountain shoes, hat and sunscreen – it is a very sunny area, water, snack (fruit, sandwich, nuts, etc.) optional picnic food.
Level:  Easy   10 km approx.  circular route
Duration:  3 hours approx.
Meeting point:   PL. Catalonia at 08:00  in front of Apple store. We will take the 08:20 train and arrive at L´Arboç at 09:30. If you want to meet in L´Arboç directly, indicate it when signing up.
Advertised day tour price:
€10 per person. Groups of maximum 15 people.
