​Visit to Baix Empordà

We will visit the beautiful comarca del Baix Empordà. 
The day will start at a local Cider Farm where you will learn about the whole cider production process. During the visit you will participate in the steps followed to create the cider: harvesting, fermentation, filtration, gasification and borrling. 
 

The visit starts at 11:30h and lasts an 1h and 15m approx. It includes  tasting the farm´s products which will bring you all the taste and aroma of the Empordà. 16,5 euros per person.

We will continue to the nearby Gola del Ter in the Parc Natural del Mongri where we´ll have a homemade cooking lunch. 24 euros menu.

After lunch we can enjoy a relax stroll to see the river Ter meeting the Mediterranean Sea. This is a beautiful area with a privileged view of the Medes Islands. 
The walk is about 30m and all flat. Nature at its best.

Before returning to the city, we´ll drive by rice farms on our way to Pals and its medieval historic center where we´ll see the Tower of Hours, a Romanesque tower built between the 11th and 13th centuries. Pals has a Gothic quarter with cobbled streets and many arches.

We´ll arrive to Barcelona around 18h
 

Day of the excursion: Friday, Feb. 21st  
Minimum group of 7 people and maximum of 15 people.

What to bring: water and good walking shoes.
