Visit to Castell de Calafell and lunch at Panta de Foix
 

This month we propose a guided tour to Castell de la Santa Creu de Calafell.

We´ll start with a nice coffee in one of the many restaurants in Calafell Platja right by the sea.
Calafell is a coastal town with wide, fine sandy beaches.
Afterwards, we´ll continue to the castle. The visit starts at noon.
We will learn about the importance of the castell in medieval times, its origins, legends and its structure.

Lunch will be in Panta de Foix, a short ride away. This is a local restaurant with excellent views of the reservoir and good local Mediterranean meals.
We´ll also have a chance to take a nice walk in Castellet i Gornal – the small town where the reservoir is located.

We´ll arrive back in Barcelona around 18:30h
 

Day of the excursion: Friday, October 17th   
Minimum group of 7 people and maximum of 15 people.

What to bring: water and good walking shoes.

Meeting point: 09:30h
